Estilo Interiors recently had the pleasure of hosting two talented Interior Architecture students, Kimberley and Shadé, from Birmingham City University on their work placement
At Estilo Interiors, we truly believe in nurturing the future of design and construction, and that’s exactly what this experience has been all about. We opened our doors to Kimberley and Shadé to provide them with real-world insights, hands-on experience, and an opportunity to learn from our dedicated team of professionals.
During their placement, Kimberley and Shadé have immersed themselves in our world of interior design and fit-outs, gaining invaluable knowledge and practical skills. They’ve had the chance to work on some exciting projects, observe our team in action, and interact with both clients and suppliers.
Kimberley said, on what she has learnt during her time with us, “I’ve learnt you don’t have to work in a plain, boring office to get work done and in fact the better designed the office, the better the work produced by the team!”
Shadé commented on her experience with us, “It’s been super insightful, learning about the design world and it’d been incredibly interesting seeing how the design team work alongside the contracts teams, suppliers, manufacturers and end contractors – all to see an amazing product at the end for the client!”
It’s been a pleasure witnessing their passion for interior architecture and design, and we have no doubt that these talented students have a bright future ahead of them. We’re incredibly proud to have played a small role in their academic journey, and we’re excited to see how they apply their newfound knowledge in their studies and future careers.
