Estilo Interiors has been appointed by Bruntwood SciTech to deliver a further £1.48 million office fit-out at Centre City in Birmingham.

The project covers 30,000 sq ft of space at the 20-storey office building on Hill Street, close to New Street Station, and marks the latest phase of Bruntwood SciTech’s investment in Centre City, following Estilo’s successful delivery of previous works there.

Estilo is undertaking Cat A+ works on the fifth and 20th floors to create new fitted and furnished offices ready to move in, which extend to 15,456 sq ft and 7,534 sq ft respectively, alongside a 7,534 sq ft Cat B fit-out on the 12th floor.

With the 20th floor now finished, work is progressing on the other floors towards final completion in autumn 2026.

Estilo previously delivered the full Cat A+ refurbishment of Centre City’s ground floor and basement, including a revamped reception and atrium, as well as new customer amenities such as a business lounge, gym and shower facilities.

Bruntwood SciTech, a joint venture between Bruntwood, L&G and Greater Manchester Pension Fund, continues to invest in the transformation of the building, which offers both leased and serviced office space for tech, digital and innovation-led businesses.

The latest appointment builds on a relationship between Estilo and Bruntwood SciTech spanning more than 15 years. During this time, Estilo has delivered major commercial refurbishment projects at Cornwall Buildings, Cornerblock and Mclaren Building in Birmingham.

Andrew Moore, Managing Director at Estilo Interiors, said: “We’re pleased to be continuing our relationship with Bruntwood SciTech, delivering the next phase of its refurbishment programme at Centre City.

“The focus is on upgrading further floors in line with the improvements already made elsewhere in the building, creating high-quality space that reflects what occupiers are looking for. The 20th floor is now complete and ready for occupation, with good progress being made across the remaining floors.”

Tom Foley, Head of Commercial at Bruntwood SciTech, said: “Birmingham and the wider Midlands are at the forefront of an exciting period in innovation, tech and R&D. Now more than ever, our major cities are driving ahead the regional specialisms that will be underpin growth and economic development. The progress we make hinges on attracting talent and creating flexible, welcoming and vibrant workplaces that are engine rooms for success. By refurbishing even more space at Centre City, we’re creating further opportunities for innovative businesses to place themselves at the heart of Birmingham’s business community.”

Centre City has been repositioned to provide modern, flexible workspace in the centre of Birmingham and forms part of the Bruntwood SciTech network. The building offers flexible office accommodation alongside shared meeting and breakout areas, fitness facilities and other customer amenities.

LSH and Savills are joint agents for the building. For more information, please visit: https://bruntwood.co.uk/our-locations/birmingham/centre-city/
