Working with longtime clients and partners, Birmingham Children’s Trust, we undertook a comprehensive refurbishment of the Trust’s new building in Aston, encompassing various aspects of both interior design and fit out.

The project involved a comprehensive strip-out, encompassing both CAT A and B specifications to meet the client’s specific requirements.

Ground Floor: The ground floor underwent a significant transformation to enhance both aesthetics and functionality. A new reception area and entranceway were introduced, setting a welcoming tone. Additionally, the ground floor now boasts a shower and locker room, a Wudu facility, and various communal and private spaces, such as breakout zones, offices, meeting rooms, and desking areas.

First Floor: The first floor underwent a thorough refurbishment, elevating existing facilities. This included enhancements to the open-plan office space, inviting breakout areas, and upgraded toilets. The result is a revitalised environment that seamlessly blends aesthetics with functionality.

Second Floor: The focus on the second floor centered on crafting a highly functional workspace. This involved the creation of modern offices and meeting rooms, complemented by the installation of cutting-edge super loos to enhance user experience.

External Facets: Recognising the importance of a holistic approach, Estilo Interiors addressed the external aspects of the building. This included a detailed plan to refurbish existing windows, coat and seal the roof structure, and ensure the cleanliness and efficiency of solar panels.

Landscaping and Sustainability: Beyond the building’s interior, the external space received a thoughtful facelift through landscaping initiatives. Estilo Interiors went the extra mile by installing electric vehicle (EV) charging points, aligning with the growing demand for sustainable transportation options. This demonstrates our commitment to creating workspaces that prioritise environmental responsibility.
