Estilo Interiors recently worked as the main contractor, alongside design studio SquareDot, to transform Cushman & Wakefield’s new offices in central Birmingham. Together, we have created an environment to foster collaboration and social interaction whilst also introducing dedicated focus areas for individuals.

Inspired by biophilic design principles, the space uses natural materials like wood, stone, and living plants to create a calming atmosphere, enhancing employee well-being and environmental sustainability.

The project supports 100 staff members with ergonomic desking solutions and dedicated wellness spaces, such as a mothers room and a prayer room, to address diverse workforce needs. “The Centre of Gravity” is a focal point offering a spacious break area with diverse seating and a refreshment point, promoting social interaction and relaxation.

The fit-out achieved an “Excellent” CCS rating, highlighting its sustainability and efficiency.

Sustainable practices were integral to the design and build process, contributing to environmental stewardship and corporate responsibility. The office features seven meeting rooms with glass partitioning, enhancing natural light and reducing the need for artificial lighting. Multiple collaboration areas are included to promote productivity and teamwork within the workspace.
