The refurbishment expanded the building’s workspace offering to meet growing occupier demand from innovation-led businesses for serviced space and flexible office sizes, while also introducing new health and wellbeing-focused amenities.

THE WORK
Workspaces & Layout
- New serviced offices ranging from two to 30 desks, complementing the leased space
- Redesigned reception and lounge areas with accompanying breakout space
- Flexible workspaces designed to support start-up and scale-up businesses
Wellbeing & Support Facilities:
- Transformation of the previously unused basement into a fully equipped gym with changing rooms and shower facilities
- A dedicated contemplation room for private meditation or reflection
- A secure bike store for active commuters
This project was delivered in collaboration with Bruntwood SciTech – a partnership between Bruntwood, Legal & General and Greater Manchester Pension Fund – and Axi Studios. The result is a revitalised innovation hub that not only enhances Birmingham’s offering to the science and tech sector but also provides a welcoming, flexible, and wellbeing-focused environment for its occupiers.
